Combining with youth and adults from St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, our youth group had a busy week participating in mission projects in the community. There were over 40 youth and 30 adults to help with the projects!

Just a few of the ways, our group served those in need:

  • Built benches for C.O.O.L. housing in Waukegan.
  • Built wooden beds for Sleep in Heavenly Peace–an organization that provides beds for children in Lake County
  • Meals were made and sent to the residents of Lake County Haven–an organization that provides assistance to those without a home.
  • Participated in a Feed My Starving Children packing session
  • Walked several miles of the North Shore Bike Path and the Des Plaines River Trail and picked up trash along the way.
  • Helped organize donations for a shop for guests of St. Joseph’s Food Pantry

A lot of hard work was done to God’s glory–a local mission trip with far reaching effects!
