Worship

What should I expect during a worship service?

We believe God rejoices in your presence in God’s house, whether you wear your Sunday best or a T-shirt and jeans. So be comfortable! Our services are filled with elements from the Lutheran Book of Worship, contemporary songs and beloved hymns.

What about my children?

Children attend worship with their families and are invited to attend Sunday School following the Children’s Message.  You do not need to be a member for your children to participate

Can I take Communion at Grace?

Yes, of course! You do not need to be a member of Grace, or even Lutheran, to receive the Sacrament of Communion. We recognize that we are all one church baptized and gathered in the name of Jesus Christ, so all are welcome to come to the table. Children who are too young to receive Communion may come forward to receive a blessing.

How do I learn more?

Join us for fellowship time immediately following worship for sweet treats, good conversation and a chance to get to know us better.

Newcomer Classes are offered every Fall and Spring. During this 6-week session, you will partner with a mentor from the congregation as you learn more about the Christian faith, the Lutheran tradition and how you can get involved at Grace. These classes are for people that are both new to the faith as well as life-long Christians.

What Lutheran affiliation is Grace?
