The Season of Lent

The season of Lent is a time for us to reflect… on our faith, on our relationship with God, and how that relationship shows up in our dealings with others. It was developed to reflect the time that Jesus spent in the desert and allows for a period of self-examination.

Our services during Lent reflect this mood. There is a lot of repetition and somberness. The services are designed to introduce a period of calm into our otherwise hectic lives.

On Sunday, we join together at 9:30 am as usual. We will also gather on Wednesday evenings beginning on March 4th at 5:30 pm to share fellowship and a soup dinner, followed by worship at 6:30 pm and a simple dessert thereafter. Wednesday evening fellowship & services will be held on March 4, 11, 18, 25 and April 1.

Please join us as you can.
