Confirmation
Confirmation is an exciting learning adventure for the 7th and 8th grade youth. Classes take place most Sunday evenings of the school year from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. Students and class leaders have dinner together. After dinner, they gather for fellowship, and learn about Lutheran traditions, the Bible, and how it applies to their daily lives. An annual weekend retreat gives students time to reflect on their faith. Additionally, students explore ways they can use their gifts and interests to assist with worship and participate in service activities. Students affirm their faith in October of their freshman year.

High School Mission Trip
Two of our youth and Pastor Eric recently joined with other churches to visit and work at the Two Strike Indian Reservation in South Dakota.
“At the end of June, my brother and I went on a mission trip to Rosebud, South Dakota and helped the people at the Two Strike Indian reservation. We played with the kids and ran a VBS, repaired their bikes, and cooked them meals. I loved giving them piggyback rides all over the playground. I also enjoyed hanging out with the other high schoolers that went and got to be very good friends with some of them.”

ROCK High School Youth
High school youth meet monthly for fellowship, activities, discussions and outreach events. Each summer the youth join forces with youth from other churches through a mission trip or National Youth Gathering.
