Grace Connections
Are your children ready for fun, friends and to grow in faith? Grace Connections strives to connect stories in the Bible with real life. Children begin in worship with their families and then dismissed to age appropriate lessons and activities. Grace Connections concludes at the end of the worship service.
Using the WHIRL Curriculum, every lesson follows a four-part sequence: Welcome, Hear, Respond, and Launch. Kids and leaders start their time together by watching an animated video to set up the lesson. Then, they dive into the Bible lesson together and respond to the scripture lesson with creative activities. Classes meet by grade level:
Seedlings (Pre-K – Kindergarten) | Sprouts (1st – 2nd Grade) | Saplings (3rd – 4th Grade) | JAM (5th – 6th Grade)
First Communion
First Communion is typically offered beginning with 4th grade students. They usually meet sometime in February or March for one instructional session. Students will receive their first communion at a future worship service.
JAM: Jesus & Me (Grades 5-6)
5th and 6th graders get together one Sunday evening each month. They meet in a relaxed setting and play games, outdoor activities, or meet out in the community for some entertainment.
VBS: Vacation Bible School
Vacation Bible School is a one-week event held each summer for children of preschool age to those entering 4th grade in the Fall. Together they have fun learning about God’s love through song, skits, crafts, food and more.
