As December nears, we invite you to come back to church.  No, this will not be like things had been before the pandemic.  It will not be a worship service in the traditional sense.  No one will be singing but there will be songs.  No one will be speaking but there will be words.  The sanctuary will be decorated for the season and it will be a place of peace, contemplation, prayer to God and music to enjoy.

Grace will be open on the following days:

Sunday, December 6, 13 and 20

Monday, December 7, 14, and 21

As is always the case during the pandemic, masks are required to participate in this in-person indoor event.  We will also remain socially distant from others who are not in our COVID pod when attending this special time together.  Please depart promptly after 25 minutes so that the next group may enter.  If the weather is hospitable and safe, we ask that you enter the building at the north ramp door and if the weather is more challenging, we ask that you enter through the door near the parking lot.

Please contact the church office at 847-367-7050 or glcoffice@gracelutheranlibertyville.org to sign up for a time slot.

We look forward to welcoming you during this special time of year as we await the birth of our savior.

Isaiah 9:6

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
