A Vision for Ministry

As 2020 begins, our congregation is working hard to formulate a vision for this year and the years to come. To this end, we’ve surveyed ourselves, asking questions about the ways that we serve God in our community and also how we’d like to grow in our faith. So too, we’ve sent our vision team out into the community to interview our local leaders. We’ve interviewed school principals, our fire chief, and our mayor to name a few. These times of inquiry have been joyful and enlightening.

With the results of these surveys in hand, we’ll come together as a congregation on Saturday, January 25th to consider the gathered responses, find themes among these pages, and construct a plan on how to seek God’s will in our lives. We’ll do our best to effectively care for our community, ourselves, and to reach out to those who may not have a community in which to get to know God more.

If you are reading this, you may feel like you’re on the outside looking in. I pray that if you visit our church or serve with us out in the community, you’ll find people ready to care about you and care for you as you seek to know God as we at Grace also seek to do. Please join us in worship, or in our community (or both) in the coming months, we’re doing our best to get ready for you.
