Social Ministries

Caring and Sharing – Caring for members and friends of Grace. If you know of anyone, or possibly yourself, who needs someone to talk to or need a helping hand, give us a try.   Caregivers offer support and encouragement to those people experiencing one of life’s transitions. We have several different areas of our ministry:

• Offer rides to individuals who would like to attend services, or doctor visits.
• Send greeting cards.
• Cook and deliver meals to people who are in need of a meal.
• Visit shut-ins or anyone who would like a visit.

This is a rewarding ministry for everyone involved. For more information on this ministry, or if you know of someone who may need our assistance, please contact the church office at 847/367-7050 or

Feed My Starving Children –  This non-profit Christian organization is committed to feeding God’s children hungry in body and spirit. The approach is simple: children and adults hand-pack meals specifically formulated for malnourished children, and we ship these meals to our distribution partners. FMSC meals have reached nearly 70 countries around the world in our history.
Grace members volunteer for a Friday evening packing session monthly on the second Friday of the month. Beginning at 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. It’s a great evening of fellowship, fun and great music too. Let’s not forget that our labors produce hundreds of packets of life-saving food.
